Pauline McLynn (natural 10th July 1962) is an Irish actress best known for swimming Mrs Doyle in the TV series Father Ted and in advertizement for the Inland Revenue. Deliberate Drama at Trinity College, Dublin. Heavy taking part within Trinity's Players Society (acting) & ran unsucessfully for Students' Union Amusement Officer. McLynn is likewise the successful comedienne and novelist, producing books such as A Woman on the Bus (2004), and appearing in many panel shows, including Have I Got News For You and If I Ruled The World.
